Learn how to press a lump of clay into a work of art! Create a name plate using coils and clay puzzling, then choose from a variety of press molds to and make flowers, footballs, trophies, etc. to add your creation. Students will learn where clay comes from, various minerals added to clay to create different kinds of ceramic pottery. There will be a tour of the kiln room where students will learn about the firing process.

$25.00 per child; This workshop is 2 1/2 hours long.

Ages 7 and over. Younger artists are welcomed when accompanied by an adult.
