POTTERY PAINTING PARTY
Troops can combine painting parties with a tour of the studio. We will make every effort to accommodate any special requests your group may have. Scout Leaders are welcome to participate.
Cost: Studio fee $4.00 plus the price of the piece to be painted.
POTTERY BADGE
We've created a clay workshop to assist scouts in obtaining badges relating to clay, ceramics, hobbies and arts. The kids will learn about clay, where it comes from, how to care for it, safety and jobs related to clay. After this mini lesson, the kids will work hands-on with studio equipment (slab roller and/or extruder, press molds etc.) and make their one of a kind masterpiece.
This workshop takes two visits, each 1.5 hours and at least 2 weeks apart. The cost is $25 per person. Scout leaders are welcome to participate.
